Michael Ilesanmi held his divorce papers in the air and had three words for the camera.
Michael Ilesanmi's divorce from Angela Deem became official on March 10, 2026, in Jeff Davis County Superior Court in Georgia. He did not keep it quiet. Michael posted a video to Instagram standing outside the courthouse in a beige suit, holding the divorce papers in the air, with a caption that read: "Finally official—divorced."
Michael and Angela first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 2 in 2018. He was 29 and living in Nigeria; she was from Moultrie, Georgia, and 20 years his senior. Despite constant friction with Angela's family, a relentless visa battle, and fights that made headlines even by 90 Day standards, the two married in Nigeria on January 27, 2020. They went on to appear on 90 Day Fiancé Season 7, Happily Ever After Seasons 5 through 8, and 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 1.
Angela was explosive the entire time they were on camera. The relationship saga, as documented across multiple seasons, involved everything from Angela destroying Michael's car to him fleeing the house in fear for his life. Angela's plastic surgery became its own whole storyline on Happily Ever After.
Michael got his visa and moved to the U.S. in December 2023. Two months later, he was reported missing and later found safe. Angela filed for an annulment in June 2024, accusing him of "fraudulently" marrying her. That turned into a full divorce.
The divorce was clean. No alimony, each kept their own stuff, and they both agreed to cover their own lawyer fees. They're also legally not allowed to talk trash about each other.
In the Instagram video, Michael's caption wasn't the only thing that landed. He told the camera directly: "Single life, here I come."
Angela has not publicly responded to the video or the post. But with that no-trash-talk clause in the divorce, whatever Angela thinks about Michael waving those papers around, she's going to have to keep it to herself.
