Shaun Robinson Isn't Going Anywhere. But 90 Day Just Handed Her Biggest Gig to Someone Else

Robinson keeps one Tell All gig as Ross Mathews takes over The Single Life reunion.

Shaun Robinson will be back for the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 8 Tell All, TLC has confirmed. But she won't be hosting all of them. Ross Mathews has been announced as the new host for the 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5 Tell All, which kicks off May 18.

Robinson has been the face of the Tell All specials since 2016, hosting reunions across the main series and its spin-offs for nearly a decade. She's an Emmy-award-winning television journalist who's hosted basically every 90 Day reunion since. Ten-plus years of sit-downs with couples who absolutely did not want to be in the same room.

Robinson has always hosted The Single Life. So Mathews taking over Season 5 is a big deal. The Season 5 cast is messy. Like, really messy. So who's hosting actually matters here.

Not everyone loves how Robinson hosts, though. A portion of the audience has long felt she goes too easy on cast members, not pushing back when fans at home are screaming at their TVs for her to ask the obvious question. Nobody's confirmed that's why she lost this one. But it's always the first thing people bring up.

Mathews is best known for co-hosting Hello Ross and his years as a correspondent and panelist on entertainment television. His energy skews warmer and more comedic than the pointed interrogation style that 90 Day Tell All fans have wanted, so Whether he actually pushes harder than Robinson or just brings a different vibe, fans are going to find out on May 18.

Robinson does have Before the 90 Days Season 8 secured, which is no small thing. That season's cast has delivered enough material to make that Tell All a genuine event. But with Mathews now attached to The Single Life, the question of how many Tell Alls Robinson actually hosts going forward just got a lot more interesting.
